Application instructions
  • Duplicate entries as runners of City of Yokohama and of Kanagawa Prefecture at once are not permitted.
  • Duplicate entries as individuals and as groups at once are not permitted.
  • The members of group entry start from same blocks.
  • Application fee will not refunded once accepted.
  • Credit card payment is made once accepted.
  • Multiple applications by the same person is prohibited.
  • False declaration of age, gender, record or entry by a person other than the applicant (fraudulent entry) will not be accepted.
  • No changes, corrections or cancel can be made to the contents of applications once accepted.
  • Please note that we do not respond to your telephone inquiries about the number of applicants, and the results of lottery.
  • The results of lottery will be notified to all applicants by e-mail or postcards. Please note that the organizers will not reconfirm addresses submitted by applicants.
  • Substitution and/or assignment of entry rights are not allowed. If such facts are found, entrants will be disqualified. In such cases, the organizers will not compensate and refund whatsoever.
  • The organizers assume no responsibility whatsoever for delays in application due to defects of Internet connection.
  • Applications are made with Internet (LAWSON DO SPORT) or Loppi at convenience stores(LOWSON, MINISTOP).
  • Applicants need to register as LAWSON web members for applications via Internet.
Personal information protection

The organizers are aware of the importance of personal information, and will handle all personal information based on laws and ordinances of personal information protection policy provided by the organizers in adherence to the Act on Protection of Personal Information. The organizers may use personal information for the purposes of improving services for marathon runners, the delivery of race guides, notification of result, notification of related information, delivery of services from official sponsors, supporters or related organizations and the publication of records (ranking etc.). Organizers or consignees may contact applicants to confirm details in their application forms. Personal information such as applicants’ names, ages, and addresses (names of countries, prefectures and cities) may be broadcasted, published and used for newspapers, television, magazines, the Internet and brochures with images, photographs, articles and records of the event. The ownership of the right to post and use belongs to the organizers.

Application rules
  1. No changes or cancel will be made once accepted for personal reasons. Overpayments and duplicate payments will not be refunded.
  2. If the event is cancelled or downscaled due to an earthquake, storm and/or flood, downfall, incidents, accidents, epidemic, or other such causes, Entry fee and other fees will not be refunded whatsoever.
  3. Deal of personal information is in accordance with the organizers’ rules above.
  4. Runners must observe the other rules of the event as well as the application rules.
  5. Runners participate in the event on their own responsibility in case of injuries, diseases, accident, loss and so forth.
  6. Runners must follow the judges of cancellation by the organizers in cases which are found to impede the operation of the event.
  7. In emergency cases, runners must accept first aid provided by the organizers and be aware that the organizers are not held liable for its treatment and conditions afterward.
  8. The organizers are not held liable for accidents, loss, injuries and diseases during the event. Runners will not make a claim for damages against the organizers.
  9. Runners will be compensated for accidents, injuries and diseases within the coverage of the event insurance.
  10. Consents of family members, parents (runners under the age of 20) or other members of team (group entry) are required to participate in the event.
  11. Runners must not substitute and/or assign a participation right to third persons. If such facts are found, runners will be disqualified without any compensation and refund.
  12. Runners must be aware that applicants’ names, ages, and addresses (names of countries, prefectures and cities) may be broadcasted, published and used for newspapers, television, magazines, the Internet and brochures with images, photographs, articles and records of the event.

  3. Pay application fee with application coupon printed by Loppi at cash register
